Our first day in the booth

Truth: I inspire more fear than I realized. At dinner, someone said they were afraid
I would beat them if they made stupid comments. This started in a lengthy discussion
on anxiety, and ended in discussing step 4.

Madness: The people at Blur have issued party tickets that we are told read:
"This ticket will admit 1 man and 3 women". There is a certain hopeful
arrogance to this that caught our attention. We've started a movement
to get tickets, and bring every queen in Hollywood to the party. Time
will tell.

Food: The Water Grill downtown.
Excellent seafood, desserts that are elegant without being extraordinary.
The steak ain't bad neither.
Long on presentation, and why in G_ds name won't
they seat parties of more than 6?
Over the phone, they seemed to not care when we wanted
to eat or who wanted to come.
I suspect we'll be passing this place up in the future.

Fun: The MERL party at Ciudad was a great deal of fun, many fine desserts (the tiny
lemon meringues made me crazy). I hadn't realized how much I missed Coco until tonight.
The nVidia party at Casey's laid new ground in it's own pathetic way.
Why is it every dinner with Carmi, Daryll, and the Lord-Blacks is so much fun?
Every 6 months is FAR too infrequent...
